Approaching Casa Alimas

You arrive at Casa Alimas via Rua da Amendoeira - the Almond Tree Road - a cobbled lane which leads up from the centre of Luz.  A short cobblestone driveway leads to the grounds of Casa Alimas, with a large private car park (ample parking for at least three cars).

Patios

Patio doors from each bedroom lead to a walled covered terrace. Two steps lead down to the pool terrace, which surrounds the pool on four sides, so there's plenty of room for loungers. 

The Pool

The 10m x 5m swimming pool has wide shallow steps at the shallow end.  Depth markers. A pool cover is provided to help retain heat at night.

There are plenty of sun loungers and other patio furniture and the high wall provides privacy and protection from the wind.

The Garden

A winding path lets you explore the fully irrigated garden, which is well stocked with flowers and fruit trees. 

In front of the villa is a almond tree grove, which increases the sense of seclusion.
